1. How fares are calculated

Fares on Zapsam are calculated by our dispatch and pricing system based on a combination of factors, including:

• Base fare for the vehicle category booked.
• Distance travelled between pickup and drop-off.
• Time taken for the trip, including time spent in traffic.
• Demand conditions at the time of booking, which may affect pricing during high-demand periods.
• Applicable tolls, parking, or state entry charges, where incurred during the trip.

The applicable fare is displayed to the rider in the Zapsam app before the ride is confirmed. Fares may vary based on ride category, distance, estimated duration, demand, and applicable charges. Exact base fares and per-kilometre/per-minute rates are configured within the app rather than published here, so riders always see current, accurate pricing at the time of booking rather than a rate card that could go out of date.

2. Upfront fare visibility

Before confirming a booking, riders are shown an estimated or confirmed fare for the trip within the Zapsam app. Any change in fare due to a change of route or drop-off location requested mid-trip will be reflected accordingly.

3. Vehicle categories

Depending on availability in a given area, Zapsam offers the following ride categories: Bike, Auto, Go, Premium, and XL. Not all categories may be available in every area at every time; the app shows only the categories currently available for a given pickup location.

4. Demand-based pricing

Like other on-demand mobility platforms, fares may be higher than the base rate during periods of high demand or limited partner availability. Where this applies to a trip, it is disclosed to the rider in the fare shown before booking is confirmed — never added after the fact.

5. Waiting time and additional charges

Applicable waiting charges, if any, will be communicated or displayed through the Zapsam app in accordance with the applicable ride and pricing terms.

6. Cancellations and refunds

7. Partner earnings

Partner earnings, commissions, and applicable service fees are governed by the Partner terms applicable to the relevant ride and program.

8. Changes to this page

Fare structures may be updated from time to time to reflect operating costs, market conditions, or new vehicle categories. The current fare for any trip is always confirmed within the app before booking.
